It is a small list of the animals that are used more in experimentation, than non-exclusive. 

Other species that are also used in scientific experiments are gerbils, hamsters, cats, ferrets, non-human primates, horses, sheep, goats, cows, pigs, birds, aquatic animals, reptiles, etc.
